FOOD AND DRINK
Here at The Samuel Barlow we pride ourselves on our commitment to fresh, home-cooked classics and are committed to using local produce and suppliers as much as possible
Our menu changes regularly. To see sample menus, please click here. All of our meals are homemade in our kitchen, using local ingredients wherever possible. Our steaks all come from local beef farms and are of exceptional quality. We are very proud that many of the farmers who produce our beef regularly visit us to enjoy one of our steaks.
Lunch is served from 12 noon until 2 pm Tuesdays - Fridays and 12 noon until 3 pm on Saturdays. On the menu you'll find a selection of hot and cold baguettes, filled jacket potatoes as well as a selection of main meals if you'd prefer something more substantial.
In the evenings (Tuesday to Saturday) we serve from 6 pm until 8 pm and the menu always includes our famous Barlow Sirloin Steaks (have you managed a Mansize?) as well as favourites such as our homemade lasagne. There is always at least two Vegetarian options. We also have a range of fabulous homemade desserts to tempt you.
Sunday Lunch is served between 12.30 pm and 4 pm. There is a choice of three roast meats, or a vegetarian option which are served with all the trimmings for £9.95. Children's portions are available for £5.95. We also offer a limited selection of alternative main meals for those who fancy something different. Don't forget to save room for our delicious homemade desserts though!
Booking is advised on 01827 - 898175 should you wish to dine with us, particularly at weekends and during the summer, as we get extremely busy. Alternatively click here to reserve your table online.
As we are a Freehouse, we have a regularly changing selection of well-kept real ales for you to choose from, as well as a large selection of draught lagers and bottled beers and ciders.
We have a carefully chosen selection of wines for you to enjoy, all of which are available by the glass or by the bottle.
If gin is your chosen tipple, we have a selection of premium gins available which are served in a Copa glass with Fever-Tree tonic water. Currently on offer are a range of Nelson's Gins, an amazing selection of Keep'rs honey gins as well as our ever popular selection from Two Birds, all of which are distilled here in the Midlands. Our resident Gin Queen, Madame Barlow, has designed perfect serves of each one so you can enjoy them at their best!
Of course, we also have a large selection of soft drinks, including local bottled water and teas and coffees.
